Halloween 2015: Frozen Cortex celebrates with 'Pay 2 Lose' armor

Mode 7 has offered up a handful of free Halloween items for Frozen Cortex and that's all well and good, but on top of those treats, they've also offered a trick in the form of 'Pay 2 Lose' armor that handicaps your stats.

The Halloween madness has even hit the gridiron, where developer Mode 7 is getting into the spirit with some new goodies for users. Here's the thing, though. Those British rapscallions are pretty cheeky when it comes to their Halloween content, which is why they're also offering a premium item fully intent on handicapping your players.

Appropriately enough, this content is called "Pay 2 Lose." When equipped, this armor severely hobbles your character's stats. Use it when it's time to take it easy on newer players or simply use it and crush them anyway, showing them what terrible players they are. The armor will cost $1, in case you're aching to give yourself a handicap.

There's also free content available, which includes a pair or robot faces for your squad and the Incredible Pumpkin Trophy. Those pieces of content are available right now.
