Oh... Meh. Backwards compatibility. Hope that doesn't mean there are no plans to do proper HD remakes of 2 and 3 somewhere down the line.

The Ultimate Edition of GoW1 is coming to PC, yes. But as far as I know, the backwards compatibility stuff is XB1 only.

Seriously, though, this is supposed to be more than just GoW with a higher resolution. New models, new graphic effects, improved controls various new goodies in multiplayer... But yeah, I'd really like 2 and 3. They're better games.

I'm sure their answer will be, "you get to play them streamed from your XBox One."

Which is fine by me tbh.

Great idea to really use BC to their benefit. I'm tempted but I rarely replay games and the multiplayer never grabbed me.

I'm curious if this will be full games (as in, including the DLC etc.)

Pretty sure it will just be the base games, as they are essentially unlocking the 360 versions of the games for play on Xbox One. You'll need to purchase or already own the Xbox 360 DLC for each game in order to use it in conjunction with the games, just like you would on 360. This is not a GOTY repackaging of the older games.
