It's time to start running, because we just got a first look at Mirror's Edge Catalyst (formerly Mirror's Edge 2), the highly anticipated prequel to the free-running action game from 2008. The game will feature a vast open world with no loading screens. Explore the city on your own terms, completing time trials, races, and story quests.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst will share the origin story of Faith as she hits the rooftops of the city, and rises to her rank as one of the fastest runners in the city. The best news is EA has finally announced the game's release date, February 23, 2016. So get your shoes ready. It's time to run.
