The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt Hits 4 Million Sales Worldwide

We all knew CD Projekt Red’s newest game, The Witcher 3, was going to be a success. But today Marcin Iwinski, one of the co-founders of the popular Polish studio, took to the internet to thank fans for their outstanding support, and to announce a sales milestone for the series.

It’s only been two weeks since Geralt took to the world, sweeping over the globe, saving helpless villagers, and shredding no good monsters to pieces. This short time limit hasn’t stopped fans from showing their support for the adult-oriented RPG series, and over four million copies of the game have been sold worldwide.

Marcin Iwinski, co-founder of CD Projekt Red, took to the web today to personally thank gamers who have purchased the game so far, stating that “Four million RPG fans spending their hard-earned money on our game is a sign that we did something right, and you can be sure that we’ll harness all that positive energy and make the upcoming expansions worthy of the grand adventure that you’re telling us Wild Hunt already is!”
