Weekly Game release Highlights, May 4-10

Star Wars Day and Cinco de Mayo are both this week, so there aren't too many games to look forward to. But you can return to Castle Wolfenstein with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, taking place during one of the best games of the year.

Welcome to the month of May! This week means everyone is celebrating Star Wars Day and Cinco de Mayo. But that means the new releases are somewhat sparse. There is one thing to look out for, though, and that's the return to the world of Wolfenstein: The New Order with the prequel, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. If a return to Castle Wolfenstein isn't in the cards for you, there's also Project Cars set to race onto PC next week. Catch the full list of releases below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
