8-Bit Cuisine: Grand Theft Auto Cluckin' Bell Fried Chicken

If you're still driving the streets of Grand Theft Auto, you'll want some chicken for the road. This week's 8-Bit Cuisine has you covered!

8-Bit Cuisine has returned, in time to cater to all those PC players that are still diving head-first into Grand Theft Auto V. Today's concoction is more of a GTA throwback, as Chef Jen goes back to the days of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to bring out some Cluckin' Bell Fried Chicken.

You'll probably want to leave your mix out overnight, but that's an optional step. Because... you know... you gotta have your chicken now! Be aware of what you're getting into, though, as many of these ingredients are a little on the spicier side. Catch the full walkthrough below.

INGREDIENTS (Serves 4-6):

  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 1 cup red pepper sauce
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoons of red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of paprika
  • 3 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
  • Peanut oil
  • Large freezer bag

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
