President’s Day is upon us here in the US, and while many are taking the day off, there’s no rest for the President of the United States. One President whose job never seems done is Abraham Lincoln, and today, Nintendo has released a new gameplay trailer of its upcoming Code Name: STEAM that focuses on the man, the myth, the legend - Abe Lincoln.

The Code Name: STEAM’s latest trailer, we see Abraham Lincoln recruiting the Agents of Steam, whom he gives orders to prior to missions. The trailer then shows off some gameplay of Henry Fleming, Queequeg, The Fox, and John Henry.

Towards the end, we learn Abraham Lincoln himself will be a playable character, although judging from the trailer, not in the same capacity as the Agents of Steam. In the trailer, Abe can be seen controlling a large steam-controlled mech version of himself as he pummels enemies with his presidential fists of fury.

game looks interesting. reminds me a bit of freedom force. the voice acting in this doesnt seem as good though, and i feel like good campy voice-acting goes a long way in themed games like this. :(

There is a demo on the eshop. It has four missions and is pretty big. Medals you get in the demo transfer to the full game.

It is great. I love Advance Wars and Fire Emblem so this is day one for me.
