MLB 15: The Show is upping the authenticity factor this year by adding licensed equipment that will tie in to player performance.

MLB: The Show has nailed down the various nuances of baseball, making it one of the best baseball gaming games out there. Now MLB 15: The Show is going the extra mile to look the part by adding licensed equipment.

Beyond adding to the game's visual aesthetic, the addition of brand name items also plays into MLB 15: The Show's Franchise mode. Brand Sponsorship contracts add team budget incentives that are tied to performance on a certain stat. Licensed items will also play into Road to the Show, which will offer various skill boosts.
