While fans are all abuzz about Street Fighter V, there were also a few announcements revealed for Ultra Street Fighter IV. The game's 1.04 patch is set to arrive this coming Monday, offering a slew of fixes and the crazy Omega Mode character variations.

Omega Mode was originally estimated for an October arrival, but was pushed back for several weeks. It looks to be ready to go, with Capcom demonstrating the new Omega Mode characters at today's Capcom Cup with a pair of special exhibition matches. Omega Mode characters offer a slew of random changes to each fighter.

A breakdown of each character's changes can be found through the Capcom-Unity blog:

Part I: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, E. Honda, Blanka, Zangief, Guile, Dhalsim

Part II: Balrog, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison, Akuma, Gouken, Seth

Part III: Abel, C. Viper, El Fuerte, Rufus, Cammy, Fei Long, Dee Jay, T. Hawk

Part IV: Sakura, Gen, Rose, Dan, Guy, Cody, Adon, Rolento

Part V: Ibuki, Dudley, Makoto, Yun, Yang, Hugo, Elena

Part VI: Juri, Hakan, Evil Ryu, Oni, Poison

Part VII: Decapre

The patch will also bring Edition Select and Omega Mode characters online, by popular demand. These can be toggled through the game's Custom Match settings. For more on the patch's contents, check out Capcom-Unity.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
