Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be bouncing its way onto PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on February 17, 2015 in North America and February 20, 2015 in Europe, Koei Tecmo announced today.

Two versions of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be made available when the title officially launches. The retail version will include everything you expect it to as fighters, stages, and additional game modes. A free-to-play version of the game will also be made available on the PS4 that will feature four core fighters: Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi and Ryu Hayabusa.

Xbox One owners will also be able to get a taste of the new fighting game, although its free trial will feature a timer. Once the timer runs out, Xbox One players will need to purchase the Core Fighters pack for $4.99 which adds the four previously mentioned fighters as well as Hitomi, Tina, Jann Lee, and Bass.

Those who previously played Dead or Alive 5 will be able to transfer over their unlocked titles, customers, and story mode progression from the last-gen versions. This is certainly a great incentive if you spent a lot of time with the title and would like to be able to play the new version on your current-gen consoles.
