Octodad: Dadliest Catch gets 'Shorts' DLC on October 14

If you're looking for more insane octopus-related content, Octodad: Dadliest Catch will get its free 'Shorts' DLC this coming Tuesday.

We've learned an awful lot about what it means to be both a father and an octopus trying to pass as a normal human through Octodad: Dadliest Catch. But the story of his marriage and his everyday suburban life is just the beginning. Developer Young Horses is ready to tell even more Octodad tales with the Shorts DLC, set to arrive next week at no extra charge.

The Shorts DLC will feature two Octodad side stories: Dad Romance and Medical Mess. The former takes a peek into life after Octodad's first meeting with Scarlet aboard the 'Cod of War' vessel. The latter sees Octodad causing hijinks in a hospital.

The DLC will appear on the main menu, following a free update on Tuesday, October 14, on both the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. Those that have yet to pick the game up will be able to pick it up for half-price on that day, thanks to a week-long sale.
