Rumor: PS4 Director's Cut of Beyond: Two Souls in the works

Could a PS4 version of Beyond: Two Souls be in the works?

Could a PS4 version of Beyond: Two Souls be in the works? NeoGAF user Dragonbane discovered references to a "Director's Cut" version of the game in a programmer's portfolio, since removed. The enhanced re-release would incorporate new scenes, including a scene where players control Jodie as a baby.

In addition, there's apparently code that refers to the DualShock 4, and there's also images of Jodie rendered on PS4. You can see that in this demo reel below:

Given the PS4 re-release of The Last of Us, it wouldn't be too surprising to see such a late-gen update for Beyond. DualShockers points out that Quantic Dream's CEO has also been retweeting requests for a PS4 version of Beyond--without ever responding to those requests.

Wouldn't surprise me if they do a Uncharted Remastered Trilogy.

Cool, I'm actually ok with all these "remasters". I hope more games end up doing this.

Would you rather they do this instead of new games? I think this is a terrible trend for the industry.

I'd like to see both if resources are available.

It's obviously not an either/or thing. It takes a smaller team a shorter amount of time to convert these games than it would working on a new title, and you know damn well that Naughty Dog (given that they've announced it) is working on a brand new title for PS4, and I'm sure Quantic Dream is as well.

      Wasn't this game terrible? I can't remember. :(

I only watched it via youtube, but it engaged me enough to watch the whole thing. No it wasn't terrible, but I'm still surprised by this as I didn't think it sold well enough for them to do this.

Depends on your taste, but I found the writing of both plot and characters to be fucking lame. Also the gameplay is pretty lacking most of the time.

My wife and I really enjoyed playing through it together. It's probably one of the most enthralling and entertaining stories I've seen in a game in a long time, and the way co-op worked made it that much more compelling.

Every major PS3 release last year is going to get this treatment.
