Wolfenstein: The New Order trailer focuses on how history changed

The premise of Wolfenstein: The New Order is an alternate history where the Nazis won World War 2. Bethesda has released a new trailer showing off just how much things have changed in the game world of the 1960s, but the timing is a bit awkward with today being the 69th anniversary of D-Day.

Narrated by protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz, the video shows Nazis as the Beatles, a Nazi's "one small step" for Fascism, and a Fatman being dropped on New York City. Der Fuhrer also gets a bit of screen time. There is even some game play shown. Check it out for yourself if the coincidence of the trailer's release doesn't disturb you too much.

We got a look at the single-player-only game already, and it seems to hold true to the spirit of the series so far. It is being developed by MachineGames, made up of former Starbreeze vets. The game is scheduled to come out later this year for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
