Fans of the 80s have one more reason to be enthralled with Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Today, the talented folks at Corridor Digital released Blood Dragon: The Cyber War, a live-action short that sets up the apocalypse's apocalypse and shows off the threat that cyborgs have become. Commissioned by Ubisoft, the film features the upcoming game's incredible soundtrack.

Given the response to the video, it seems like we're one step closer to Blood Dragon becoming its own franchise.

Blood Dragon is awesome, if for no other reason than it's a much desired return to the 80's. It seems media all over is taking cues from 80's/90's culture. I think an awakening is happening, where people are realizing that media has generally been major shit since the end of the 90's, and they are trying to pick things up again from when it was last pretty good.
