'Deep Down' is new IP for PS4 from Capcom
by John Keefer, Feb 20, 2013 4:50pm PSTCapcom's Yoshinori Ono took the stage during Sony's PlayStation 4 event in New York to unveil a new engine codenamed Panta Rei, a next-gen extension of the company's existing MT Framework tech. The first game revealed is a new IP with the working title of Deep Down.
A trailer, which didn't look real-time, had a Demon Souls, first-person RPG vibe to it, and showed an armored warrior going against a rather large dragon. The game will offer some sort of social integration where you will be able to invite friends to help on raids.
"You have no idea how badly I wanted to tweet about it," Ono-san said about the game before introducing the trailer.
