An indie developer composed of talent from Media Molecule, Lionhead, and Criterion has announced its first game, a PC and Mac strategy title about making solid profits on mortality. Death Inc from Ambient Studios has you step into the role of Grim T. Livingstone, a reaper outsourcing agent called in to help handle the overflow from the bubonic plague.
To that end you'll be tracing routes of infection, defending areas, and unlocking better disease delivery devices like infected rats and exploding livestock. The official site shows off some of the art style, and promises a Kickstarter coming to fund the project on February 4.
Eurogamer reports that the game's Kickstarter will be aiming to reach 300,000 pounds, or approximately $480,000 USD. The single-player game will be targeting a release this fall.
