Rumor: Black Ops 2 'Revolution' pack coming January 29
by Steve Watts, Jan 02, 2013 7:30am PSTPurportedly leaked promo images for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 seem to have spilled the beans on the game's first map pack. The "Revolution" pack is set to include five new maps, and will launch on Xbox 360 first on January 29.
The promotional materials circulated on Reddit (via Joystiq). The images show teaser material for Hydro, Grind, Downhill, Mirage, and Die Rise. The latter appears to be a zombie map, if the name didn't give that away. Finally, the image promises a new "Peacekeeper SMG" weapon.
It seems believable enough, but we're chalking it up as a rumor until we hear official word from Activision. Shacknews has contacted the publisher and will update as more information becomes available.
