Lone Survivor spooking PS3 and Vita
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 12, 2012 11:45am PSTSide-on survival horror Lone Survivor is creeping onto PlayStation 3 and Vita, creator Jasper Byrne has announced. Soon consoleers will get to see what pleased our Ozzie so in his review when it debuted on PC earlier this year. Hint: that it's jolly nice.
It's being re-coded for Sony doodads by Explodemon developer Curve Studios, Byrne explained in his announcement. That's really all we know for now, with nary a sniff of a release window.
"I'm greatly looking forward to this, as it's been a dream of mine since childhood to release a game on console, and especially the Sony ones as I love what they do most of all," Byrne said. "Anyone who follows my Twitter will know that I don't tend to play games on PC, I really am a couch gamer, most happy on my PS3! Lone Survivor was designed as a console game (in my head, anwyay.) In fact, all the games I work on I really imagine being on console, or fantasize about, anyway!"
Look, here's a trailer for the PC edition, with a peek at what it's like to lose your mind in a post-apocalyptic nightmare world:
