Mass Effect 3 campaign gets new weapon DLC
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 17, 2012 6:45am PDTIf you've enjoyed shooting men with the likes of the Piranha Shotgun and Typhoon Assault Rifle in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, you may be pleased to hear that a selection of the shiny new guns introduced in MP are now available in single-player, with two all-new weapons too. BioWare will charge you for that privilege, of course.
The Groundside Resistance pack adds five weapons from the multiplayer side, the Kishock Harpoon Gun, Striker Assault Rifle, N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle, N7 Piranha Shotgun, and Acolyte Pistol. You also score the brand new Venom Shotgun, which packs a third barrel firing microgrenades, and the armour-piercing Executioner Pistol.
The DLC is out now on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, priced at $2 (160 MS Points).
