Borderlands 2 Captain Scarlett DLC trailer celebrates casting off
by Alice O'Connor, Oct 16, 2012 1:00pm PDTAvast, ye vituperative vault hunters! The first of Borderlands 2's DLC mini-campaigns launches today, the merry adventure of Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, naturally accompanied by a trailer showing off some of the scurvy dogs and nasty mobs you'll be shooting. You can watch it now with your eyes.
The DLC sends players off to Pirate Bay in search of, what else, treasure. It adds new areas, enemies such as Sand Pirates and Anchormen, quests, unique weapons and loot, and other jazz.
Captain Scarlett will run you $10, or it's included with three other similar, yet-unrevealed packs in the $30 Season Pass. There will be more DLC not included with the Season Pass, mind, beyond the Mechromancer class released last week.
