Report: Backbone Entertainment hit by layoffs, closure considered

The developer of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is currently working on Midway Arcade Origins for Warner Bros Interactive.
According to two IGN sources, the Emeryville, the layoffs could lead to a complete shutdown. However, another source says that the company will attempt to "keep it going smaller."
