Shack PSA: PlayStation 3 Super Slim now available
by Steve Watts, Sep 25, 2012 1:00pm PDTSix years into the life of the PlayStation 3, chances are you already own one if you want to. But if you've just been waiting for an opportune moment, today might just be the day. The new slimmer PlayStation 3 is hitting stores now, packaged in two bundles with games included.
As previously reported, the Super Slim is 25 percent slimmer than the old Slim. It costs $269 for a 250GB system, or $299 for a 500GB system. You'll also get the GOY edition of Uncharted 3, and $30 worth of digital content in the upcoming free-to-play shooter Dust 514. Plus you get 30 days of PlayStation Plus membership, which tends to come with free games as part of its "Instant Game Collection."
