Forza Horizon season pass detailed, costs $50

Forza Horizon is getting a "Season Pass" pack, offering a slew of content for $49.99.

Playground Games recently mentioned monthly car packs for Forza Horizon, along with a larger-scale expansion pack. Today the company detailed its Season Pass, which will grant you access to the expansion, six car packs (of six cars each), five exclusive vehicles, and a launch day pack.

You might notice the season pass offers a bit more content than we usually see in these packs, and that's reflected in the price. It will sell for $49.99 (4000 MSP) when it releases on October 23, alongside the game. The developer notes that's a 17% savings to purchasing each pack separately, which might help make it paying almost the price of another full game easier to swallow for gear-heads.

Holy fucksnacks. 110$ for the full package and then you know they will continue to release more dlc after the six packs this season pass includes.

I think I'm just going to start waiting for rereleases of any game that has season passes.

I understand this is to appeal to their day one purchase customers. I don't think the suits understand this also makes the rest (people like me) wait until the GOTY edition is out and on sale. As long as they are cool with that and don't try to use piracy as a scapegoat for low sales at launch I am cool with it.
