Borderlands 2 easter egg pays homage to PC indie hit
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 18, 2012 10:00pm PDTBorderlands 2 is a game filled with secrets. And we have to admit, this easter egg is a pretty incredible nod to one of the most popular PC indie games around. If you don't mind spoilers, find out exactly what we're talking about after the break.
Hidden in the latter half of Borderlands 2, the Caustic Caverns holds a secret. Going past the train tracks in this area will take you to an area inspired by Mojang's Minecraft. After busting through some Minecraft cubes, you'll have to fight a Creeper. Defeating it unlocks a Minecraft-inspired skin for your character to don.
