Shack PSA: Battlefield 3 Premium Edition available
by Steve Watts, Sep 11, 2012 10:00am PDTIf you're a bargain-hunter who missed out on Battlefield 3, you may be glad you took your time. The game's "Premium Edition" launches today, which includes the game and all five expansion packs, among other goodies, for the standard retail price of $59.99.
The package includes the game, a Premium membership with access to the three existing packs (Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, and Armored Kill) and two upcoming packs (Aftermath, Endgame), soldier and weapon camos, a multiplayer head-start kit to catch up with the community. EA and DICE boast that it's more than $100, seeing as each expansion is $15 by itself. If you have sixty bucks to burn, it's not a bad value. If you bought the game last week unaware, you might want to check into a return.
