Scott Pilgrim vs the World getting online multiplayer DLC
by Andrew Yoon, Aug 07, 2012 5:00pm PDTScott Pilgrim vs the World may be two years old, but that isn't stopping Ubisoft from making more DLC for the critically-acclaimed retro brawler. The publisher has announced on Twitter that a new "Wallace Wells" DLC pack will be available on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade "soon."
According to the Scott Pilgrim Wiki, Wallace is Scott's gay roommate who appeared in the game as an NPC. It's likely that the DLC will make him a fully playable character.
While Ubisoft isn't revealing further details, Major Nelson has already outed a date and a price: August 19th, for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). Oddly, Microsoft describes it as an "Online Multiplayer" pack as well, which suggests that the core game is being updated with online multiplayer--one of the most fan-demanded features for the game's original release.
