God of War: Ascension Collector's Edition announced
by Andrew Yoon, Jun 13, 2012 5:45pm PDTGod of War: Ascension may not be ready until March of next year, but that doesn't mean you can't pre-order it now. In an enthusiastic e-mail sent out to PlayStation Network members, Sony has revealed various pre-order goodies and a new Collector's Edition set.
Pre-orders will be entitled to an exclusive "Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack," which includes the armor of Achilles, Perseus, Orion, and Odysseus for use in the game's new online mode.
The Collector's Edition, which currently has an $80 price tag on Amazon, includes an 8" Kratos statue, plus steelbook game case, soundtrack, and a pass for future DLC content. Thanks multiplayer mode--you've enabled the God of War franchise to get its own DLC pass.
