Rumor: Castlevania: Mirror of Faith for 3DS outed
by Steve Watts, May 21, 2012 1:45pm PDTKonami's "Castlevania: Blank of Blank" series has done incredibly well on the DS, and it appears the publisher is looking to expand that formula to the system's successor. A leak from the company's E3 schedule includes a game called "Castlevania: Mirror of Faith" for 3DS. Speculation has it that this game will tie in with a rumored Lords of Shadow sequel.
According to the rumor, David Cox and Enric Alvarez, the producer and writer/director of Lords of Shadow, respectively, are involved with this new project. If true, it's likely to tie into the well-received rebooted universe.
Dutch site N1ntendo spilled the beans on Konami's E3 schedule. The page has since been pulled, but not before NeoGAF could remark upon their findings. With E3 only a few weeks away, it won't be long until we see if this rumor holds any merit.
