Persona 4 Arena coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 this Summer
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 21, 2012 2:00pm PSTThe Persona 4 fighting game is coming to the US. Titled Persona 4 Arena for its North American release, the hand-drawn 2D fighting game features characters from Persona 3 and 4, and makes them pummel each other relentlessly. While the game may be published by Atlus, Arena is developed by Arc System Works, developers behind the BlazBlue and Guilty Gear franchises.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will include enhancements over the Japanese arcade original, such as a "full Story mode" and online multiplayer.
According to the announcement, "P4A looks and feels like nothing else out there. Each fighter has attacks tied to their Persona, their summoned inner strength, adding to the depth and complexity."
The brawler will be available in the Summer. While you wait, here's a trailer for the Japanese version of the game:
Mad Riders trailer goes heavy on the meta
Anarchy Reigns finished, delayed by Sega anyway
Jet Set Radio making its way to Vita
Diablo 3 patch coming next week
Elder Scrolls Online plans to sort out bugs with long beta
