Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 'Content Collection' coming to Xbox 360 in March
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 09, 2012 1:45pm PSTFinally! Non-Elite peons of Call of Duty's online community will be able to buy the first map pack for Modern Warfare 3. The first "Content Collection," described as "a compilation of content previously released to Call of Duty Elite premium members" will be available in March for Xbox 360 players.
That means the first map pack should include Piazza, Liberation, and Overwatch.
It's unclear if the "Content Collection" will include content planned for Call of Duty Elite members in March: one map and two Spec Ops missions. A price has yet to be announced, but previous map packs cost $15 each.
A release window hasn't been announced for PC and PS3 players, either. However, it's likely the first "Content Collection" will arrive in April for non-Elite players on these platforms, given the pattern of one-month delays for DLC.
