Rumor: Another Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing project in the works
by Steve Watts, Jan 23, 2012 4:15pm PSTSega may be readying another Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing for some newer and upcoming platforms. A rumor cites a developer at Sumo Digital hinting at another game in the series, specifically mentioning 3DS, Vita, and Wii U.
According to fan site Sonic Stadium, a staff member said: "Now working on another title for Sega on 3DS, Vita, and Wii U. [The] title we are working on is top secret but the last game we did for them was Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing, so the logical conclusion would be..."
The first game wasn't released on any of those platforms, so this could mean a sequel or simply a port to each platform. The source is unnamed, making us a bit skeptical and placing this firmly in rumor territory. A Sega spokesperson gave Shacknews an official "no comment" on the report.
