DmC: Devil May Cry gameplay trailers galore
by Alice O'Connor, Dec 08, 2011 1:15pm PSTIf you look at it one way, a pair of new DmC: Devil May Cry gameplay trailers show the new Dante stabbing faces and jumping around hostile animate architecture. From another angle, though, it can be seen as a powerful metaphor for how youth violence and vandalism are tearing our cities apart. The wonders of interpretation, ladies and gentlemen!
DmC: Devil May Cry is in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory, slated for launch next year.
The first of the two trailers released by publisher Capcom today is actually a little old, showing off the stage demo from the 2011 Tokyo Game Show. Expect several minutes of defeating demons/terrorising innocent civilians.
Then here's the new trailer, which sees the city rent asunder as Dante gallivants around without a care in the world. Honestly, the youth of today!
Chatty: Diablo III, Dragon's Dogma
FileShack: Unity of Command, Skyjacker
Daily Filter: Planetside 2, Deadlight
Weekend PC digital deals: strategy-o-rama
38 Studios, Harry Potter Kinect - Shacknews Daily: May 25, 2012
