CryEngine used for skiing game titled 'Snow'
by Steve Watts, Nov 02, 2011 6:45pm PDTIndie Swedish developer Poppermost Productions has taken the wraps off its CryEngine-powered skiing and snowboarding game, Snow. Release details are as sparse as a secluded mountaintop at the moment, but Poppermost promises that it will be releasing an early version before the end of the year so they can incorporate feedback into the finished product.
The official site compares it to some extreme sports gaming luminaries like the 1080 and SSX franchises, as well as Skate. Version 0.1 will be released sometime in 2011, inviting players to "be a part of our development process."
All we can say for now is that it's an awfully pretty skiing game. Check out the debut trailer below.
