Bungie app hits Android
by Steve Watts, Oct 19, 2011 2:15pm PDTThe Bungie app, which lets you check your stats, see friends' statuses, and keep up with the company news feed, is now available on the Android marketplace. The app hit the iPhone for free in June, teased as the "first of many" mobile pushes from the company. The Android app is free as well, and so far seems to be getting fairly positive feedback from users.
The App description outlines the feature set: "From the creators of the award-winning Halo games and Bungie.net, Bungie Mobile connects you to your Xbox Live friends, your career stats, and Bungie’s news feed. Keep tabs on your closest friends with Xbox Live online status, link up with Bungie.net users through Private Messaging, and showcase your in-game assets with direct access to your awe-inspiring Halo: Reach Stats while you’re on the go (or on the can)."
Oh Bungie, you know our mobile device usage so well.
