MineCraft lead teases dragons
by Xav de Matos, Oct 07, 2011 6:45pm PDTIf you've always felt Minecraft has lacked a monsters of the flying and fire-breathing variety, your hopes and dreams have been answered. Minecraft mastermind Markus 'Notch' Persson has teased a prototype of a dragon in the popular indie title.
It might not be the prettiest thing in the block-filled world, but it's apparently heading your way.
Persson tweeted images of the dragon earlier today, proclaiming: "It's animated and flies around now!."
Mojang is currently in the middle of a legal tussle with Bethesda parent-company ZeniMax over the use of the words "Scrolls." Since Bethesda's next title, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, features all the dragons we certainly hope Notch isn't opening himself up to another legal brouhaha.
