Chantelise launches on Friday; demo out now
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 25, 2011 6:00am PDTPublisher Carpe Fulgur, of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale localization fame, has revealed that its next release, action-RPG Chantelise: A Tale of Two Sisters, will be released for PC on July 29. To get amped up for the launch, you can download the game's 243MB demo here at Shacknews.
Made by Recettear developer EasyGameStation, Chantelise is an action-RPG telling the tale of sisters Chante and Elise. Poor Chante's been turned into a fairy, leaving Elise to smash through monsters as they seek to undo the curse.
Chantelise will be released through Steam, GamersGate and "other digital distribution networks." GamersGate lists it as costing $9.95.
Carpe Fulgur announced earlier this month that, after Chantelise, its next release will be Lizsoft's Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone.
