Heads up! It's a trailer for Brink, detailing the HUD
by Xav de Matos, May 03, 2011 8:45pm PDTThere are a number of elements that developer Splash Damage are adding to its upcoming shooter Brink to attempt to set it apart from the competition. During the GDC 2011 episode of Weekend Confirmed, Garnett attempted to explain some of the multiplayer-focused differences between Brink and other titles.
Today, publisher Bethesda has released a trailer for Brink that details the game's heads-up display (HUD). Though a lot of the HUD is bog standard, the video is a good crash course on what to expect when Brink launches on May 10, 2011, for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
Also, the video features the soothing tones of a kind British lady talking about "pips" and "grenades," which makes it a hundred times more entertaining.
