Xbox Live's 'Deal of the Week' will now arrive on Tuesdays
by Xav de Matos, Mar 22, 2011 8:30am PDTLarry "Major Nelson" Hryb, Xbox Live's director of programming, has revealed that the XBLM "Deal of the Week" promotion will launch on Tuesdays rather than Mondays from now on. The change was revealed via Major Nelson's Twitter account.
Currently, the weekly Xbox Live Marketplace promotion begins on Mondays and expires a week later. With the new schedule, promotions will launch on Tuesdays and run until the following Tuesday.
For this week's "Deal of the Week," Xbox Live Gold Members can grab Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One for the discounted price of 800MS Points ($10, down from $15). And, if you were following along with the news above, the sale ends on Tuesday, March 29.

I order most of my games online, so I can't say it's ever really bothered me much - it's just one of those things that has always puzzled me.
