Was it really necessary for me to scroll down the equivalent of ~10 pages to read this entire list of games? Can't you just put small thumbnails on the side of the text and not in line with the text instead of putting close to high def pictures that each take up about half of my monitor's vertical space? Thanks.

I think Brink might be the next game to offer that type of thing, at least from what I've seen. I agree, the R6 Vegas games had some cool character customizations and upgrades. Another series that was kinda like that was the Army of Two games. Granted, they are only on consoles but they were fun for what they were, especially when played in coop mode.

I agree sir! We've gone way too long without character customization in FPS games. I want to be able to quickly identify individual friends and enemies at a glance. It makes grudges more personal, and coordination with your buddies easier. I honestly can't believe we've been playing serious FPS games for 15+ years and we're just now implementing character customization beyond texture skins.

Kind of, but you always have a choice: buy early, or wait. For me, it's all about how much I'm looking forward to a game. I'll scoop up Batman: Arkham City the day it's released even though I know it'll be half of sometime next year, because I don't want to wait until next year to play it. But if there's a game I'm interested in, yet not $50-$60 worth of interest, I'll let it simmer until a sale pops up.
