Evening Reading
by Garnett Lee, Feb 18, 2011 5:00pm PSTThis is one of those three-day holiday weekends with signature sporting events here in the United Stated. The NBA makes a weekend out of the midseason break with the Rookie Challenge tonight, 3-pt and Slam Dunk Contests tomorrow night, and then the All-Star game Sunday. NASCAR starts the season with its "The Great American Race", the Daytona 500.
Seems to me a couple of games missed out on their chance be part of the weekend's festivities. Bulletstorm and Killzone 3 both come out next week, but plenty of people would have enjoyed making their weekend out of either of them. Granted, it's not an issue outside the US, but if either had released this past week...well, it's hard to beat a three-day weekend and a new game. Eh, maybe it's for the best; it just means more time for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and catching up on all the other games I want to play.

WBC on the other hand, while twisted is acting within every right of religion and free speech. They are also the purest form of troll I can think of. By Anons own rules, this is incredibly stupid and my inner conspiracy theorist thinks this is poisoning of the well, at least I hope that is the case, but who knows. Perhaps they are disintegrating back into to bored 4chan kids trolling myspace profiles.
Phelps can take a flying leap for all I care. He has nothing to offer humanity, his followers included. His congregation on the other hand, I just feel sorry for. They are sad, misled people holding on to a sad, pathetic excuse of a faith. All in all their right to say and do such horrible things is something we have to defend.
