Evening Reading
by Brian Leahy, Nov 02, 2010 5:00pm PDTSo the real guitar for Rock Band 3 isn't going to be out until March 1, 2011, which is a really long time after the game's release. I'm curious how people will rush out to get the MadCatz controller, which is certainly capable of handling Pro Mode, but isn't a real guitar.
Furthermore, will people that can't wait and snag the MadCatz controller be upgrading to the real deal in a few months? Time will tell!

Favorite sci-fi writers, current ranking:
1. Alistair Reynolds - best writer of the decade. so prolific too.
2. Vernor Vinge (he needs to write more stuff )
3. Iain M Banks
4. Richard K. Morgan (although apparently he writes homoerotic fantasy now?)
5. Greg Bear
special mention for Larry Niven and William Gibson though their stuff feels terribly dated and 80s now.
