Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light 'Free' DLC Coming to Xbox 360 on Oct. 27
by Xav de Matos, Oct 26, 2010 7:10am PDTAlthough we already knew Lara Croft had discovered the sacred "Rune of Connectivity" to enable online co-op for her latest adventure, today we've learned that the "free, for a limited time" DLC on Xbox 360 will also launch on October 27--which, according to the Mayan calendar, is tomorrow.
The content, dubbed "All the Trappings," adds a new area for players to "conquer" and features the laundry list of Ms. Croft's favored skills: Puzzle solving, exploration, and shooting anything that moves.
As a thank you to "patient Xbox gamers," who have waited since late September August to experience online gameplay in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, the "All the Trappings" DLC will be made available "for free for 30 days" on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
An update on the co-op and DLC availability for explorers on the PS3 and PC is expected soon.
