Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam at TGS 2010

Actually, the number of maps has been confirmed. There will be four (4) maps in the expansion. I just hope they will support rush and conquest, so then we have a total of 8 maps.

And hopefully they will let Medal of Honor die, and start the BF3 beta as soon as possible. Like... February or March.

BF Vietnam was when I started playing the series. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

please, do something to hinder spawncampers in conquest, for example make the enemy spawn area 'obstructed' so that you start the 10 second 'leaving battlefield' timer if you try to enter the enemies base camp.
I fucking hate the 10 year old looser breaking the game by constantly stealing and destroying your hardware. Unbalance the game to a crap fest.

Also stop the UAV+C4 exploit in Rush would be a substantial improvement.

maybe if they fixed more of this game I'd be interested in more content.

for instance:
ping in server browser 1/5 of actual in game ping
can't check scores while dead
can't see classes of all teammates


For the most part I love this game. But the little things are really annoying me lately.

All that foliage seems like it's going to make people just shoot randomly in the hopes that they will hit someone.. and I personally don't see how that will make for a fun gameplay experience.. but that's just me.

My hope is that this has a proper AK47 or AKM (i.e. one in 7.62x39 with all the (greater) damage and (in)accuracy ramifications that has (maybe give its bullets gravity drop...7.62x39 always had a nasty drop beyond 200-300 meters)). Or better yet a Type-56 Underfoldah. I also really want an RPK...RPKs are fucking awesome. Hell if we're going class specific then the Assault should get an AKM or AK47 (or Type-56), the Engi should get an Underfolder AKM (AKMS I believe...or Type-56-1), Medic could get an RPK and maybe an RPD (though RPKs are more awesome), and the Recon could get a Dragunov, or FPK, or perhaps an SVT-40 or Mosin (not sure if the FPK saw any use in Vietnam...I think the SVD saw a little...and I'm pretty sure the SVT-40 and Mosin saw quite a bit). The SKS also needs worked in there somehow (shitload of those were used). And ofcourse all the vintage US/allied weaponry (classic M-16s, Car-15s, British issued FALs, wood-stocked M14s, etc)...though I have a hard-on for Soviet weaponry for some weird reason.

My next hope is that the new weapons will work in existing maps (the new stuff shouldn't throw balance off at all really...it'd just be more stuff)...I really want to use an AKM or RPK all the fucking time!

Their "VIP" content has been an absolute joke. I thought the point of "VIP" was that original purchasers of the game would get new dlc(new maps and content, not reworked maps) for free while used game buyers had to pay for it. Now that they're actually going to give us new content, they're gonna charge us. What a fucking joke. And then these companies bitch about the used game market and trade ins? Well they can bitch about one more because it's off to Gamestop to trade it in.

I'm all over this on PC. So many lol moments with the BF series, plus the jungle maps rock!

Pretty much an insta-purchase for me considering how much time I've put into this game. Can't wait!
