Shack PSA: 25% off Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic at Direct2Drive

To celebrate the $10 digital PC release of its Star Wars RPG Knights of the Old Republic, BioWare is offering a coupon for a 25% discount at Direct2Drive to all who register for its Old Republic community website before September 15.

The critically-acclaimed RPG serves as a bargain entry point to Star Wars' Old Republic period, which takes place thousands of years before the movies and will play host to BioWare's upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG.

Knights of the Old Republic also hit Steam, though no discount is on offer there.

Might be the best Star Wars game ever made. Hard to compare this to Jedi Knight, since they were years and tons of RAM apart, but worth going back and playing if you never have.

I'm might pick this up. I remember that the game entertained the hell outta me for a long old time. Well it'll give my rusty old 'saber skills a work out before the MMO hits.
