Morning Discussion: Giant Cogs Turn
And though I'd usually prefer to play an action-filled puzzle-platformer such as this on a console, I have to say that the keyboard and mouse controls work so well, especially when drawing objects into existence as ye olde Wizard or aiming the Thief's bow and arrow, that the sheer thought of using a gamepad to do so is just ...unappealing.

You know, The Phantom Menace sucked but the lightsaber fight in it is by far the best of both trilogies.

I don't think there's any contest. It's long, well coreographed, features the use of many fundamental force powers, results in two deaths, has great music, a cool set, and the double-headed lightsaber was pretty sweet.
I'm speaking strictly out of context here, because obviously it is the most insignificant fight in the series.

Your 4 is my 1. There's a lot to dislike about RotJ, but the way that saber duel plays out and is intercut with scenes from the space battle just does it for me. Particularly goose-bump inducing is Vader being all, "You are unwise to lower your defences!" and lunging in for the attack. You get the build-up of Vader coming in, lightsaber all ominously humming, Luke trying to stand his ground, James Earl Jones being awesomesauce, and then rapid-fire lightsaber activation + clashing sounds.

Old Obi-Wan vs. Vader is actually one of my favorite fights. Even without the prequels, there's this feeling of immense history and importance to their fight. It's amazing what two good actors can accomplish with just a few lines. I actually think the prequel trilogy makes it feel less significant. It was better not knowing exactly wtf occurred between these two people.
