Riddick Gets Map Pack, 'Commentary Mode' DLC
by Chris Faylor, May 21, 2009 2:02pm PDTTwo new bits of downloadable content for Starbreeze's The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena were today released for the Xbox 360 version of the shooter.
Currently only available to Xbox Live Gold members, Commentary Mode is a free download said to add four and a half hours of developer commentary to the single-player Escape from Butcher Bay campaign.
Meanwhile, the Premium MP Pack delivers five multiplayer maps--"Munity" (Butcher Bay Riot), "Sneerock" (Deathmatch), "Tracker Star" (Capture the Flag), "Viper Run" (Butcher Bay Riot) and "The Tangle" (Pitch Black)--at the price of 800 MS Points ($10).
No word yet if these add-ons will be coming to the PC and PlayStation 3 editions, though the PlayStation 3's online PlayStation Store should receive its weekly update shortly.

Amazing how they are able to push away so many customers.
I wonder how their PC sales charts are doing... I was so keen on buying this, if those idiots would actually sell the game instead of lend it.

I guess now they at least cant blame piracy for the bad sales, hell the lack of a pirated version might even have had a negative inpacted the sales. Much less "mouth-2-mouth" commercial this way.
On top of that a demo was promised to the pc users, upfront even i believe. Could be me, but i cant find it.
The DRM issue i wont even address anymore, its more than clear that drm hurts sales more than it helps.
