Mirror's Edge PS3 Demo Tomorrow, Xbox 360 Demo On Friday

Originally expected November 6, a playable demo of DICE's Mirror's Edge will be released this week instead. The PlayStation Store will have the demo tomorrow, and the Xbox Live Marketplace will have it up on Friday.

The demo will include a tutorial and part of the single-player story mode, and those who have pre-ordered the game will be able to use a code to unlock a Time Trial mode.

Mirror's Edge ships for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 November 11, with a PC release following later this winter.

Good to see they are taking the time to do a proper PC demo that is optimized for the controls and screen of a PC. Really don't want to see a simple port. Since this is one of many games I have to decide to go 360 or PC, a demo for both before purchase is a must. And hey! A PS3 exclusive demo (OK so it's only one day but that's something right?)

I have so many games on my list this year... I have to divide them into categories and start making cuts (I can't afford them all... financially and time-wise). This category contains:

Mirror's Edge
Tomb Raider Undergound (or whatever it's called)
Prince of Persia

Two of those have to go... so I want this demo to be good (fun to play) but I want it to be bad (so I can cut it). I guess I win either way. And why am I sharing my dilemma with unknown internet denizens? I have no idea.
