Prince of Persia Hits Stores December 2

The latest entry in Jordan Mechner's acclaimed Prince of Persia platforming series will hit PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 2, publisher Ubisoft has announced.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Prince of Persia ditches the time rewind feature found in the past three PoP games. Instead, the game is said to focus more on one-on-one combat and platforming, including the ability to run on the ceiling.

Ubisoft Casablanca's cutesy Nintendo DS release, titled Prince of Persia: The Fallen King, is slated to accompany the console game in its journey to stores on December 2.

I REALLY hope they aren't pulling an Assassin's Creed and rushing this out for Christmas. That would be very disappointing.

Oh come on. When has Ubisoft ever impaired a Prince of Persia sequel to make a quick buck?

Was AC rushed out? I coudl've sworn it was delayed a few times...and when it came out, it was pretty solid save for some PS3 issues.

It suffered repetative design and gameplay flaws that could have easily been ironed out before releasing it. IT was almost like they got to a point where they said, well it looks pretty and you can play through the game...ship it!
