I met the drummer from KMFDM last night, so that was pretty cool.

I finally got it at Walmart, but not with out people being idiots.
I recently (yesterday) talked to the manager at Target, with him saying "Ya sorry we cannot sell the game, till 11/12/07" , that sucks, but I'll wait. So this morning I call at 9am CST and the bastards tell me, oh ya we cannot sell it till Wednesday 11/14/07. Hmmm. He claims that their ads say 11/14/07, which they, do. I inform him that the game was released 11/12/07 and a Nintendo Memo could verify this, he agrees and still tells me "Ya, but we will get in trouble with Target (Corporate I assume) for selling the game.
So let me get this straight, you get in trouble for selling a game on time? My god idiots.
Enough of my endless banter, this game rocks and I await the Shack review for a good read.-
They did the same thing to me with Zelda Phantom Hourglass. Ad said weds, the guy at the counter agreed that games come out on tuesday, he had it in stock, but couldn't sell it to me.

Didn't buy it. Too many other great games to play right now. That and I'm pretty worn out on the little plumber. I guess it's just over-saturation over the years, finally sinking in. Now back to TF2, Crysis, Gears of War (PC), The Witcher, Hellgate: London, SupCom: Forged Alliance, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts,...ah..you get the idea.

after seeing Remo say he walked in and got his from EB yesterday afternoon, I went to the Gamestop by my office and asked if they were selling
"Come back tomorrow"
I said "Some EB Games are selling them, you guys can't?"
that's when both employees said "No they aren't..." and I started to break in with "...but" and then they continued with "You know why? Because EB Games doesn't exist anymore! They've all been bought out by GameStop."
Tell that to the two EB Games stores I rode by on my way to Circuit City, where I bought my copy of Mario Galaxy last night, ass.
I don't care if they tell me "We don't have it" or "We can't sell it, sorry :(". But don't be a fucking ass about it! "Drr you don't know what you're talking about, those stores don't exist!! Wanna pre-order???" -

I called them yesterday: "We have it in, but we're not selling it till tomorrow."
...So my wife stopped by today to pick it up: "Uhh...The shipment we got yesterday was just the coins. We'll have it at 2:00."
...So I dropped by later to pick it up: "Nope! We'll have it at 3:00!"
...So I call at 3:00: "We'll have it at 5:00."
