I feel kinda bad for these guys. They're a talented bunch but the game itself is just tanking horribly. I read somewhere that if AA didn't do well the studio would end up having to shut down probably.

I think I'm going to pick up AA this weekend. I tried the 14 day trial and enjoyed it, and a number of stores are selling it for ~$30.

It just didn't turn out the way I had hoped so I didn't buy it myself even though I preordered it a year in advance.

The beta just left a bad taste in my mouth because they didn't take advantage of the vehicles like I would have wanted. It was the same kill 12 of these guys and go talk to this person to get your next quest.

No high speed chases or anything Mad Max-ish from w hat I got out of the beta.

same here, I was psyched at first but when I played the beta I wasn't sure what to think of it. Even though it was a fresh scenario it struck me as a pretty standard MMO - kill this, loot that, craft some stuff, level up, and it ran horribly on my comp for some reason, so I've never played again...

Yes. I also hated the quests. Many times you would end up doing the same task in three different quests. It gets really tiring when there are so many quests like that. In the end, I think the quests will be the major downfall.

I noticed during the beta that NetDevil was able to make many changes to the game very quickly. In another 2 patches or so the game should be pretty decent. They have already made great headway with this update and fixed or started fixing many of the complaints people had.

In my opinion, if they would re-design many of the quests to be more interesting, the game could work very well. I really liked it yet had to quit when I ran out of money. X_X If they try hard, they can salvage it.
